BROWN BUTTER WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD

Ingredients:


  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup oat flour
  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 3 eggs

Directions:


  1. Put the butter in a deep cooking pan and melt on medium heat until it starts to look golden brown. Turn off the heat and let cool down then move to a container.
  2. Put in the bananas, sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in the flours, salt and baking powder and mix using a spatula.
  4. Spoon the batter in a loaf pan coated with baking paper.
  5. Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350F for about forty minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool in the pan and serve, sliced.
