✰ Ingredients:


  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour


✰ Directions:

  • Mix the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, ginger and cinnamon in a container.
  • Put in the remaining ingredients and stir for a few seconds to mix.
  • Pour the batter in a loaf pan covered with parchment paper.
  • Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350F for about fifty minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan before you serve.
