✰ Similar to a crème Brulee, this is very simple and sweet with a burst of orange flavor

  2. Cook time 30 minutes

✰ Ingredients

  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Lemon and orange strip
  • 5 tbsp sugar (2 tbsp for the top)
  • ½ tsp cornflour
  • ½ tsp vanilla

✰ Method

  • Warm the milk in a saucepan with the cinnamon sticks, and citrus strip until you can perceive the aroma
  • Next, in a different bowl, mix the egg yolk with sugar (3 tbsp) and cornflour
  • Pour the milk mixture into the egg mix, and whisk
  • Return to the pan and keep stirring until it thickens
  • Then, pour into a small ramekin and allow it to set in the fridge
  • Sprinkle the sugar and torch to form a cracking layer
