✰ These flour fritters are crunchy, and when soaked in sugar syrup, they are the perfect addition to ice cream on a summer day.

✰ Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 &1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp shortening or lard
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying

✰ Method

  • First, mix all the ingredients in your mixer except the oil
  • Allow it to rest and divide the dough into 20 balls
  • Then, flatten each one and fry until crunchy and golden brown
  • Eat alone or soak in sugar syrup
